Gotham Launches Complete Line of EVO® LED Luminaires

Acuity Brands, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the EVO® line of LED downlighting luminaires from Gotham®.  The new family of solid-state lighting products combines high performance and energy efficiency with visual elegance and architectural aesthetics.

The EVO line includes eight new solid-state lighting products: open downlight, open wallwash, retrofit, lensed wallwash, cylinder, vandal resistant, shower light and decorative downlight. A modular design allows Gotham to reconfigure the mixing chamber, reflector, lenses and LEDs independently of one another, creating flexibility for improvements to EVO luminaires as technology advances. This configurable light engine ensures consistency in both quality and quantity of light, while still providing wide latitude to continuously upgrade efficacy and performance.

Illuminating Engineering Society Selects 10 Acuity Brands Lighting Products for Annual Progress Report

Acuity Brands announced today a total of 10 lighting products, including new LED lamps, luminaires and lighting control software, have been selected by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) to be included in its annual Progress Report. The Progress Report documents significant worldwide developments and achievements in the lighting industry, including new products, applications and design tools.

The innovative and significant new Acuity Brands products selected by IES include:  Acculamp S-Series LED lamp, Lithonia Lighting RTLED indoor ambient LED series luminaire, Gotham Downlighting DLWLED lensed wall wash luminaire, Lithonia Lighting Archway Passage  LED luminaire, Hydrel  8100/8200 Series LED floodlight luminaire, Healthcare Lighting  Surg5 surgical T8 troffer luminaire, Winona  Lighting Winline Submersible 607 LED luminaire, Winona Lighting Revel OLED surface mounted general illumination luminaire, Winona Lighting Kindred OLED linear general illumination luminaire, and SensorSwitch  nLight lighting control system.

Gotham Adds More Drama to Lighting Line-Up

As if Gotham lighting wasn’t visually appealing enough, along comes a new line of glass downlights sure to please the most hard-to-please of lighting designers. There are three product sets in this new high-performance series:

• The PDRGF decorative downlight features a glass shade in a shallow recess, with a choice of flange colors to complement the selection. The shade comes in either 6” or 8” apertures, and in colors of blue, amber or white.

• The PDRDF decorative downlight features a deeply recessed, pressed-glass shade, also available in blue, amber or white. It then adds a luminous dome (16” for the 6” shade or 21” for the 8” shade) for more dimensional color.

• Drop luminous rings and disks: These are simple yet elegant lighting options that provide a new design feature for a variety of Gotham’s 6” or 8” compact fluorescent, metal halide or LED downlights.
