Acuity Brands Expands LED Ceiling Light Family with New Lumen Packages

Acuity Brands expands the OLWCM ceiling light family from Lithonia Lighting to offer two styles and three lumen packages. The OLWCM ceiling mount luminaires are an ideal solution for outdoor lighting applications such as parking areas, garages, carports, loading docks and covered walkways as well as interior applications such as factories and warehouses.

OLWCM 36 luminaires are designed with a tight, type 5 light distribution, ideal for lighting smaller areas at higher foot candle levels. The OLWCM 46 and OLWCM 57 luminaires provide a wide light distribution for illuminating larger areas. The OLWCM ceiling lights utilize high-performance LEDs, which maintain 70 percent of light service at an expected 50,000 hours of service.

All OLWCM ceiling light luminaires are designed for mounting heights between 8 and 15 feet. They are designed for flush or pendant mounting for customizable mounting heights. The fixtures are crafted with rugged cast-aluminum and corrosion-resistant bronze or white housing. Additionally, polycarbonate lenses protect the LEDs from the elements and provide a broad and even light distribution.

Acuity Brands Delivers Cost-Effective Options for General-Purpose Ambient LED Lighting

New LED troffer and wraparounds from Lithonia Lighting provide exceptional value and performance for any budget.

Lithonia Lighting introduces the affordable Contractor Select LED troffer and wraparound luminaires from Acuity Brands. Ideal for replacing T8 fluorescent fixtures, both the GTL LED troffer and LBL LED surface-mount wraparound luminaires deliver general ambient light for recessed ceiling applications such as schools, offices and hospitals. LED technology coupled with MVOLT (120 – 277V) drivers ensure color consistency and an expected service life of at least 50,000 hours.

The GTL LED recessed troffer features a frosted pattern #12 lens to diffuse the light source without compromising lumen output. It is available in 2’ x 2’ and 2’ x 4’ configurations. Smooth-hemmed sides and a lightweight fixture enable easy installation. The GTL LED luminaire is ideal for grid ceilings when replacing traditional 2-lamp T8 fluorescent fixtures.

LBL LED surface-mount wraparound LED luminaires provide high-angle brightness control through a curved prismatic diffuser and linear side prism. Luminous end plates soften the appearance of the fixture for improved aesthetics. Available in 2’ and 4’ configurations, the LBL LED wraparound luminaire is suitable for most surface-mount applications.

Acuity Brands Enhances Popular Lithonia Lighting TWH and TWP Luminaires with LED Technology

TWH and TWP LED outdoor wall-mounted luminaires deliver more than 100,000 hours of maintenance-free operation.

Acuity Brands now offers its popular Lithonia Lighting TWH and TWP outdoor wall-mounted luminaires with LED technology.

TWH and TWP LED luminaires are identical in size to their traditional counterparts and offer a familiar, classic appearance while delivering ultra-reliable, energy-efficient LED illumination. With an expected service life of more than 20 years, the TWH and TWP LED luminaires are virtually maintenance free and eliminate up to 12 metal halide lamp replacements. Designed to replace up to a 400W metal halide luminaire, the TWH and TWP LED luminaires offer up to 77 percent in energy savings and are capable of producing up to 6,700 lumens.

“The TWH and TWP LED luminaires are an excellent option when replacing existing traditional wall packs,” said Andrew Nowak, Lithonia Lighting Value Stream Manager, Building Mount Luminaires. “With a larger footprint than other wall packs, the TWH and TWP LED luminaires are able to conceal weathered wall stains and blemishes left by existing luminaires, while also making it possible for a seamless and gradual upgrade to an LED source.”

The TWH and TWP LED luminaires are available in 10, 20 and 30 LED configurations. Unlike some similar competing LED luminaires, which offer only bare LEDs behind a glass or polycarbonate outer lens, the TWH and TWP LED luminaires use individual LED primary optics that focus light on the outer lens of the luminaire and allow a larger percentage of the light to be delivered to the target area.

Available with a choice of two lenses, the TWH LED luminaire features a die-cast front housing and glass lens, while the TWP LED luminaire features a vandal-resistant polycarbonate lens, which makes the TWP ideal for lower mounting heights.
